Due to Flourish Art Therapy Studio, LLC providing only virtual services, materials are not currently provided during sessions. However, sessions can be completed with what materials you have available. Basic drawing materials (pencils, markers, crayons, etc.) and paper are a great starting point. Free virtual art making websites and apps are also provided as resources for sessions. If you would like to purchase art materials, the art therapist can provide you with a list of materials that can be beneficial for sessions.

No, typically art therapy sessions are a combination of art making and talk therapy to accommodate each client’s individual needs or preferences. Some days you may feel like focusing more on the art processing, while other days you may need more verbal processing. That’s okay!
